...それにしても、聴き終わってからも恍惚としたまま、なかなか正気に戻れないような素晴らしい内容だった。配信でも構わないから是非商品化してもらいたい。

映画音楽のような風格をたたえたChanging Every Dayにまるで007主題歌のようにスリリングだったMiss Me Blind、Karma ChameleonのアウトロやIt's A Miracleのブリッジ等々、オーケストラの醍醐味を味わえるアレンジは流石だったし、John Grantの端整なBlack Money、Eve GallagherのクラシカルなChanging Every Day、Jimmy Somervilleの妖艶ですっかりウェットなDo You Really Want To Hurt Me...とゲスト・ボーカルも聴き応え十分。Colour By Numbersという(名曲満載にも関わらずいまだデラックス・エディションさえリリースされていない)アルバムの魅力をいま一度強烈に印象付けるパフォーマンスであり企画だった。

...と同時にフル・オーケストラの重厚な演奏と多彩なゲスト・ボーカルも気づけば、ほんのイントロもしくはお気に入りの衣装でしかないと思えてしまう...現在のBoy Georgeの歌声にはまたしても涙せずにいられなかった。(もともと短い曲とはいえ)過去最高に終わるのが惜しくてたまらなかったThat's The Way、そして歌声も演奏も一音たりとも聴き逃せなかったVictims...。Culture Club再結成(再始動)はきっととんでもないリアクションを得ることになるに違いない。...興奮と感動と恍惚と涙に、程無くしてそんな確信も加わった。

9月17日“BBC Philharmonic Presents...2014”シリーズの一環として行われたCulture Clubの2ndアルバム“Colour By Numbers”再現ライブ。当初Culture Clubとオーケストラの共演と伝えられていたが、結局はBoy Georgeのみの出演。Jon/Roy/Mikeyも関わっているようだが(最終リハーサルに先がけて行われたインタビューにはJonとMikey、そしてプロデューサーSteve Levineも同席)...、John Themisを筆頭にソロ人脈によるパフォーマンスとなっている。そのほかにJimmy Somerville/John Grant/Eve Gallagher等がゲスト出演。このコンサートの模様は、9月27日22時（日本時間9月28日6時)からBBC Radio 2“Sounds of The 80s”内でオンエア予定。
